My stay at Arima Hot Spring Ryokan Kotori was an absolute delight. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing and the neighborhood was charming. The staff, especially Shoji and Kimura Masami, were delightful and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. The breakfast and dinner were some of the best meals I had during my entire trip. The garden fronting the onsen was a beautiful touch, and the free shuttle service provided by the hotel was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly enjoyable and authentic Japanese experience.

Located near the bustling shopping district, this ryokan offers convenience. The room was spotless and cleaned well. Both breakfast and dinner were great and plentiful. Guests can relax in the garden or the stunning onsen facilities.
The communication was a challenge due to the staff's limited English skills.

The hot spring baths were amazing, especially the outdoor ones which were a truly unique and relaxing experience. the traditional Japanese breakfast in the morning was a delightful and delicious way to start the day. The location was great as it was within walking distance of many shops and attractions.
Communication with the staff was difficult as they did not speak very much English, which made requesting certain services or asking for information a bit challenging. the shared bathrooms happened to be crowded during my stay, which was not ideal.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food was some of the best I've had on my trip. The presentation of the breakfast was simply stunning. Additionally, the hotel facilities were very clean and modern, particularly the private onsen in my room. Finally, the location was excellent, very close to the main shopping street and easy to access by public transportation.
Absolutely nothing.

Wonderful staff with great service and mouth-watering breakfasts! The garden was delightful and the hot spring was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient to nearby attractions.
Although the shared bathrooms were spotless and modern, some may prefer more privacy. the hotel's transfer service during check-in and check-out times could be limiting for guests with different schedules.
